*** Consignors may bring a limited amount of ADULT items:

I am bringing KIDS & BABY items to the sale, do I need to register for a separate consignor number if I am bringing ADULT items as well?
No.
If you already have a KIDS & BABY consignor number, enter your adult items under that same account.
(If you have a consignor number from our previous ADULT events, you will need to register for a NEW consignor number so that your items will be included in the inventory for this event.)

Do I need to make separate DROP OFF appointments for my KIDS items & my ADULT items?
No. You may bring everything at the same time.

How many ADULT items can I sell?
The minimum number of ADULT items required per consignor is 0 items.
The maximum number of ADULT items allowed per consignor is 25 items.
(You are more than welcome to consign Adult items even if you are NOT participating as a KIDS & BABY consignor.)

What can I sell?
* All items will be checked at drop-off before the consignor leaves.
We reserve the right to be selective in regard to what is accepted into the sale.

We will accept ‘NEW’, ‘LIKE-NEW’ & ‘EXCELLENT-USED-CONDITION’ ADULT items from the following categories:

MENS & WOMENS (incl. junior, petites & plus) FALL & WINTER clothing.
MENS & WOMENS FALL & WINTER SHOES (current styles only, must be in like-new condition, no wear to the foot-bed or at toes & heels)
MENS & WOMENS ACCESSORIES (purses, scarves, belts, ties, jewelry etc)
HOLIDAY DECOR (any season)
CRAFT & PARTY SUPPLIES
SMALL APPLIANCES/KITCHEN ITEMS
HOME DECOR (current styles & trends only)(no florist’s vases, no used candles)
FURNITURE (in excellent, odor-free condition)(tables, chairs, bookcases, desks, etc)
BEDDING (sheets & pillowcases in complete sets only, no stains, rips or excessive wear, current styles & trends only)
ARTWORK/PICTURES (limit of 3 photo frames per consignor)
LAWN & GARDEN ITEMS
TOOLS
EXERCISE & SPORTS EQUIPMENT (no more than 5 yrs old, in excellent condition)
SMALL ELECTRONICS (we must be able to test on site)
BOOKS, DVD’s & CD’s

All items must freshly cleaned, in good-to-excellent working condition & include all integral pieces.

What CAN’T I sell?
* All items will be checked at drop-off before the consignor leaves.
We reserve the right to be selective in regard to what is accepted into the sale.

USED UNDERWEAR (underwear must be new, with tags still attached (used bras, slips, etc okay as long as they are in excellent condition)
CLOTHING WITH COMPANY LOGO’S (ie polo shirt from Monsanto company)
CLOTHING WITH DESTINATION LOGO’S (ie tshirt from your visit to Destin, Florida)
VHS TAPES
SETS OF DISHES or INDIVIDUAL DISHES (‘china’ plates, bowls, etc)
LARGE APPLIANCES (washer, dryer, etc)
MATTRESSES
ITEMS REQUIRING BATTERIES THAT DO NOT HAVE BATTERIES INSTALLED (we must be able to test items)
ITEMS THAT HAVE EXCESSIVE WEAR, ARE DAMAGED OR ARE MISSING INTEGRAL PARTS, ETC.(items should be ‘new’, ‘like-new’ or in ‘excellent-used-condition’ only)

What about MATERNITY clothing?
Consignors may bring up to 5 pieces of MATERNITY clothing.
This will count towards your ADULT item limit (not KIDS & BABY limits).

How should I price my item(s)?
All CLOTHING items must have a minimum price of $2.00. (You may hang or bundle more than one item together to get to the $2.00 minimum if necessary.)
All OTHER ITEMS must have a minimum price of $1.00. Price in whole-dollar increments only (for example, $2.00, $3.00, $4.00 $5.00)

What adult clothing sizes can I sell?
JUNIORS
WOMENS (including Petites & Plus sizes)
MATERNITY
MENS

What type of clothing condition do you accept?
All clothing must be freshly laundered, clean, of a current style and free of the following: rips, tears or stains of any size, fading, broken zippers, missing buttons, excessive wear, pilling, wear at knee or hem of pants/jeans, and cracked “iron-on” type pictures or graphics on shirts.

Be scrupulous in what you take the time to clean, hang, package and tag. Please bring only your best and pass the rest on to someone who can use it. There are many charities struggling for donations that would be so grateful for your items that are not appropriate for this sale.

What season of adult clothing & shoes do you accept?
We are accepting only FALL & WINTER clothing & shoes at the Fall 2014 sale.
NO shorts or swimwear. Clothing should be of a fall/winter color, weight & style.
Jeans & capris are okay.

Is there a limit to how much adult clothing I can bring?
There is no limit on how much clothing you may bring, as long as you stay within the following TOTAL item limits:

The minimum number of items required per consignor is 0 items.

How many pair of adult shoes can I bring?
There is no limit on how many shoes you bring, as long as you stay within the following TOTAL item limits:

The minimum number of items required per consignor is 0 items.
The maximum number of items allowed per consignor is 25 items.

Can I sell Maternity clothing?
Yes. You may bring up to 5 pieces of Maternity clothing.

How do I know if an item has been ‘recalled’ by the CPSC?
We can not accept for sale any items that have been recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Seller’s are responsible for making sure their items are not on the recall list and/or are not considered unsafe. Check the CPSC web site for info on the items you are bringing to the sale.

What about items that require batteries to work?
All items requiring batteries must have working batteries installed. (You can find these inexpensively at dollar-stores.)

Can I send someone in my place to drop-off and/or pick-up my items?
Yes, no problem. Anyone can bring your items to your drop-off appointment or to pick up your unsold items. PLEASE NOTE: If you send someone to pick-up your ‘unsold’ items, please be sure they are aware that they will need to find your unsold clothing on the clothing racks, and your unsold ‘other’ items on the tables. Items will not be sorted out by consignor number. (See: Avoiding Pick-up Paranoia) Unsold items not marked to be donated, may be picked up Sunday, October 19th, 3pm-7pm. All items remaining at 7pm will be donated.
